Art House Co-op Bones

            I signed up for the sketchbook project in October 2009. My sketchbook will tour around the United States along with other artist who have also joined in on this project. Visitors will receive library cards and be able to view the books at exhibitions around the country. The goal of the project is to create a giant collective of sketchbooks from around the globe and make it accessible to everyone. Before my sketchbook joins the Art House Co-op permanent collection, my sketchbooks will be exhibited at select galleries across the US.

           There are 30 different themes in this project to create your sketchbook around; I was assigned a random theme “It’s Not Easy Being Green”. I was sent a Moleskin sketchbook with a barcode that is linked to a database so Art House can track and categorize it at the exhibitions.
